Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Facets for iOS and the Facets website. By using Facets, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
Facets is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a custom license agreement is provided in App Store Connect for your country or region. These terms supplement that license for Facets services, subscriptions, support, and AI features.
Eligibility
Facets is not directed to children. Clarity AI features are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. You are responsible for using Facets only where it is lawful for you to do so.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you create or import into Facets, including facets, tasks, habits, goals, journal entries, photos, captions, voice memories, and reflections.
You grant Facets the limited permission needed to store, display, sync, back up, process, and generate outputs from your content so the app can provide its features. If you use Clarity AI, this includes sending relevant content to third-party AI processors as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions And Purchases
Facets Premium may be offered as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account subscription settings. Facets cannot cancel an Apple-managed subscription for you. Free trials, introductory offers, pricing, renewal periods, and included features are shown in the purchase flow and may vary by country or region.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store rules. Restoring purchases in Facets checks your Apple/RevenueCat entitlement and does not create a separate Facets account.
Premium And Clarity AI
Premium features may include Clarity generation, refinement, and coaching-style prompts. AI output is generated from imperfect systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable, or not suitable for your circumstances.
Facets does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, or professional advice. Use judgment before relying on AI output, and seek qualified professional help where appropriate.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Facets, interfere with its services, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected service components, abuse subscriptions or entitlement checks, upload unlawful content, or use Clarity AI to generate content that violates law or harms others.
Availability And Changes
Facets is local-first, but some features depend on Apple services, iCloud, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, Google Gemini, Sentry, or network availability. We may change, suspend, or remove features when needed for reliability, safety, compliance, or product development.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how Facets handles local data, iCloud Sync, purchase data, diagnostics, support requests, and AI processing. You can review it at facets-landing.pages.dev/privacy.
Termination
You may stop using Facets at any time. You can delete local app data in the app, uninstall Facets, disable iCloud Sync, and manage your Apple subscription through Apple Account settings. We may restrict access to service-backed features if you violate these terms or if doing so is necessary for security, legal compliance, or service protection.
Disclaimers
Facets is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app, AI outputs, sync, backups, subscriptions, or support channels will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Facets and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
